Tanel Ruben (Estonia), Drums

The Haifa Big Band is Israel’s largest and most professional jazz orchestra, recognized as a pioneer of the local jazz scene. Since its establishment in 2008 at the initiative of the Haifa Municipality, the orchestra has been bringing the finest swing, blues, and modern jazz to the stage with energetic performances, featuring 18 leading musicians and rich, crowd-moving arrangements. Under the musical direction of Jeff Howard and with performances that include collaborations with top-tier artists, the Haifa Big Band is the only ensemble of its kind in Israel with a regular subscription series and appearances both nationally and internationally.
